About Tanya
Tanya Parker is a dedicated procurement professional from rural southern Maryland, St. Mary’s County, with over 20 years of experience in public procurement. She currently serves as the Procurement Agent for the St. Mary’s County Metropolitan Commission (MetCom), where she specializes in procurement within the public water and wastewater utility industries.
A member of MPPA since 2018, Tanya currently serves as a Director on the MPPA Board. She is passionate about advancing excellence, integrity, and service in public procurement, and continues to support the profession through leadership, collaboration, and mentorship.
